Josh and Emily's journey to founding J&E Painting is a tale of unexpected connections and shared passions. Despite growing up in the same town of Hutchison, Kansas, their paths never crossed until they found themselves working side by side at Deerfield Elementary in Lawrence, Kansas.
Their friendship blossomed over shared stories and a mutual shared interest. After a particularly inspiring conversation about the power of color and design, they decided to embark on an adventure together.
Their first project? The complete interior overhaul of both of their homes. Armed with paintbrushes, laughter, and a shared vision, they transformed their living spaces into vibrant, inviting environments. It was during this process that the idea for J&E Painting was born.
